The DCI World Championship 2024 prelims at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis advanced 25 corps to the semifinals as the best in DCI move one step closer to the finals on Aug. 10.
The first corps competed in the early afternoon and the first set of scores were released during the second intermission. The Spartans had the highest score of the first set of performances with 81.038.

The No.1-ranked Bluecoats had the highest score of the prelims, while the defending champion Blue Devils were third.
