Major/Essential Functions
- Serve as project manager for major events and initiatives on the regional campus, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Responsible for creating, submitting for approval, and monitoring the event budget; exhibiting financial discretion in spending decisions in regards to logistics and resources. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and outcomes. Monitor progress and address any issues that arise related to project planning and execution.
- Responsible for operational processes such as scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the SOP regional campus.
- Provides comprehensive and complex administrative support to the Regional Dean including but not limited to managing calendars and travel, facilitating hiring and onboarding for new employees, and maintaining documentation and records on their designated campus.
- Facilitate effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders represented on the regional campus. Serve as a liaison to the Regional Dean and other offices (e.g., School of Pharmacy (SOP) Dean’s Office, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) campus Business Office, and other TTUHSC offices).
- Collaborate with the Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration to ensure adherence to TTUHSC and SOP policies and meet budgetary goals, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Manage Business Services which includes overseeing ADA accommodations for examinations, facilitation of room assignments, badge/key access, and asset management, including inventory and fleet vehicles when assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office with professional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in managerial accounting, grant management, and report environments preferred. History of supervisory experience.
