Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 is a resource pack for Minecraft 1.15.2 that is the perfect addition to any sword-swinging hero’s Minecraft arsenal. Ever wish that Minecraft’s swords had a bit more of an edge to their design? Well, Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 is the pack for you.

What is Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2?

Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 is a resource pack that changes up the classic design of Minecraft’s selection of swords. Although Minecraft might be a game suitable for players of all ages, that doesn’t mean we have to settle for weedy and plastic looking weapons. Thankfully, other players have got us covered and Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 seeks to transform Minecraft’s swords into the scary weapons they should be.

Is Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 fun to play with?

Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 is a great pack to play with if you often find yourself hacking and slashing away at hordes of Minecraft mobs. Although they are cute, Minecraft’s sword textures don’t really pack the particular punch that you sometimes crave when laying waste to zombies, skeletons and creepers, and many players search for alternatives.

The textures of these new swords are pretty flashy and detailed when compared to Minecraft’s vanilla set of textures. Imagine them as the best sword you might get as a reward for finishing an RPG video game—huge, intricate and over the top. Rather than keep the toy sword appearance of Minecraft’s default swords, this pack introduces designs that add curvatures and other spikey details to portray the game’s swords as much more menacing and scary.

One disappointing factor when it comes to the sword designs is variation. I love it when artists show off a bit of personality through the differences between sword materials, shoddy wooden swords versus cutthroat iron affairs and the like. However, this pack doesn’t offer very much variation in the sword textures, and only uses a distinct texture for swords made out of diamond.

To summarise, Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 has a lot to offer to fans of combat and general PVP Minecraft play. With its simplistic design, this pack is perfect for adding on top of your other favourite resource packs, and the further customization that the pack offers makes it a great new addition for any players resource pack library.

What’s good about Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2?

✔ Awesome looking new sword textures

Advertisements

✔ Easily stackable on top of other resource packs

✔ Small scale makes the pack have little impact on game’s performance

What’s not so good about Better Swords Texture Pack 1.15.2 1.15.2?

X Art style of weapons doesn’t quite fit Minecraft’s aesthetic

X Not particularly interesting for players not fussed about PVP or combat

X Not much variation in different sword types
